How to Fish
We’ve made fishing with Nearly New Fish as easy as possible because we know how busy you are! Follow the steps in this guide and you’ll be earning money from your gently used items in no time.
Step 1: Register
All consignors need to register for each new sale. If you haven’t sold with us before you’ll create an account, which only takes a couple of minutes. We only use your information to track your items and pay you when your items sell. Be sure to register for the correct location near you.
Step 2: Prep Your Items
2A. Place your hanging items on hangers and bundle or bag loose items. Full instructions on our Prepping Items for Sale page.
2B. Decide your prices using the helpful resources on our Pricing Guide.
2C. Sign in here to enter your items through our tagging system, then easily print your tags and attach them to your items. Don't worry, creating tags on our website is extremely easy and takes less time than handwriting them!!
Step 3: Drop Off Your Items
Sign up for a drop off time once you are registered as a consignor. Organize your items by category and size to greatly expedite your drop off. Upon arrival, you may pull up to our entrance, but please move your car immediately after unloading. We will have tables that you can put your items on while you move your car. You may use our rolling carts to get your items placed. Please wait for us to assign you a cart. Only one cart per consignor will be issued. You will place your items on the appropriate shelves and racks. Don’t worry, we will have volunteers present to assist you!
Step 4: Get Paid!
Pick-up or donate your unsold items the Tuesday following the sale (any items not picked up will be donated to charity).
Within two weeks of the sale, we will mail you your check!
Get special access to the consignors-only sale when you sell with us!
Consignors with a minimum of 25 acceptable items or $100 worth of merchandise can shop at our PRIVATE Consignors-only sale (you will receive your pass to the sale at drop-off.)
