Pricing Guide
A good rule to follow is to price the item 25-40% of it's original value, depending or how new an item is, how much you want it to sell and how in demand the item is.
All amounts should be in 50 cent increments, nothing under $1.00. If you have smaller items such as baby rattles, burp cloths, etc., consider packaging several together (i.e. four for $1.00).
Please specify if you want to have your items discounted on half price day. Be sure to check the "half price box" when filling out your tags.

Determining Your Price
In addition to the general rule of 25-40% of original value, consider these points when making pricing your items:
Think about what you would be willing to pay for the item.
Decide what is the lowest price that you are willing to accept. Then decide if you are willing to discount that on half-price day.
Set a lower price for items that you would prefer not to pick up after the sale ends.
Clothing will typically sell for 25% - 35% of their retail price. Keep in mind that more expensive brands are going to sell for more. Lower-priced brands include but are not limited to Carters, Sonoma, Old Navy, Healthtex, Lee, Levi’s, Circo, etc. Higher-end brands include but are not limited to Gymboree, Baby Gap, Talbot Kids, Koala Kids, Calvin Klein, Limited Too, etc. Boutique brands will sell for even more. Brands MUST be included on our boutique brand list.
For many toys and most equipment, www.amazon.com is a great reference for what people are paying for new items.
High demand items will often sell for 30% to 60% of retail! Some of the most in-demand items are:
Little Tykes/outdoor play equipment
Playhouses
Bikes and riding toys
Tool benches and kitchens
High chairs and booster seats
Leapfrog games and gaming systems
Kids furniture
Changing tables
Exersaucers, bouncers and swings
Safety gates and bed rails
